Having been with the group for over 15 years, Emma brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and creative design thinking to both small scale and large scale, complex projects encompassing Architecture, Placemaking, Master planning and Interior Design. Emma’s design ethos focuses on shaping environments that engage with the end-user, creating sustainable and resilient places for belonging and cohesion.
With a passion for problem-solving and future thinking, Emma leads Buchan’s Research and Development group and is instrumental in our Design and Sustainability focused Labs. With a focus on collaboration and consultation, she engages with industry through open discussions and takes great joy in mentoring and empowering students and graduates both within Buchan and outside the group.
